Vintage Art Deco Bagley Glass Tulip Lamp 1930s
Vintage Original 1930s art deco table lamp. The lamp is made of pressed glass, themed as a flower tulip shape. Condition is good with no cracks or abrasions. Bagley Glass was started in 1871 in Knottingley, West Yorkshire by William Bagley and John Bagley. Starting in the 1930s Bagley Glass began designing and manufacturing popular art deco pressed glass items in a range of pastel colours. Bagley's pressed glass was very popular and enabled a range of luxury items to be made which had many of the properties of light refraction as in costly lead crystal. Queen Mary purchased several pieces of Bagley Glass adding to its popularity. The lamp has been reworked and in working order. Ht 21cms Diameter 13cms.
